Broken Windows

producer

Here come the girls: sisters, head girls, lonely hearts and future rock stars. Some of them have their paths planned for life, others don’t know what they’re doing at the weekend. All of them are free for a chat if you’d care to listen in…

Based on verbatim interviews with teenagers from across the UK and set to song, Broken Windows is an exploration into what it means to be young and female today. Featuring music composed by Matthew White (BBC Radio 2 Young Soloist, TED Global).

Broken Windows is the result of a year-long period of research into the experiences of girls aged 15 to 19.

Broken Windows was produced by Piú Theatre.
