Punch me.

Set in the girls’ locker room of a Florida high school, Dry Land is a play about abortion, sexuality, bodies, swimming and an unlikely friendship put to the most extreme of tests. This coming of age story provides an insight into the turbulent and often painful experience of being a teenager and deals with the pressures of youth with an acute sensibility and laconic humour.

In November 2015, Damsel Productions presented the European premiere of Ruby Rae Spiegel’s first piece. The production was a sell-out; receiving remarkable acclaim from critics and audiences, with Stewart Pringle describing it as “astonishing fresh and honest” (The Stage).
